Time is running out!
These next few weeks are ones of major transition for our family.
They will include the end of a decade long pursuit of education, recognition and title. A goal that at times seemed out of reach, but which God has helped to bring to completion.
In just 19 days Josh will graduate from Life Pacific College.
When we began college we were single, naive and carefree. The completion finds us married, (hopefully) wiser and responsible for 3 (very soon-to-be 4) small people.
Which brings up the other transition.
In 48-ish days we will be welcoming another son into our family.
What was once 5 will become 6. What was once an office has become a bedroom. What was once meant for study and theology is now a place for play and make-believe.
There’s so much still to do in preparation for both of these events.
Papers to write, distance learning classes to complete, announcements to order.
Clothes to wash, sort & put away. A name to pick. Announcements to order.
Add to this list the normal daily chores, family and friends visiting from out-of-town and a handful of birthdays and we’ve got a crazy road ahead of us.
It’s all exciting though…and most of all it’s all in God’s hands.
“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 4:6-7
